Its always an honor to photograph the wedding of those who do so much for my community. Not only do I have the honor of knowing the groom, but the pleasure of photograph the wedding of the Fire Chief of my hometown. But on the wedding day, Jason was just like any other groom anxiously getting ready surrounded by his friends and loved ones. In a separate wing of the Fort William Henry Hotel, Katie laughed and smiled with friends and family as they helped her get ready and into her wedding dress. This November day threw many surprises at the soon-to-be-wed couple, from the Mayor and efficient being an hour late, to the cold and blustery weather. But this couple was all smiles, nothing would get in their way! A sweet and happy ceremony took place overlooking Lake George, followed by cold but fun formal photos on the town docks. I was not prepared for the party that awaited us at the reception! From the first moments of the reception, this crowd was determined to have a great time! The best man led the way in showing off crazy dance moves and encouraged others to follow suit....until the whole room was dancing and having a great time! This was one of my favorite weddings of the year because of the awesome couple and their obvious love of each other and a good party.
