Meghan and Tim’s Country Wedding at The Sablewood

Meghan and Tim’s wedding day began on a warm summer morning at the Sablewood in Schoharie NY. The bride got ready in the beautiful bridal suite, surrounded by good music, friends and family. The groom stayed tucked away in the groom’s suite just two doors away – anxiously awaiting the first look.

Once the final touches to Meghan’s look were complete (provided by Seraphina Devine Beauty), the couple journeyed up to the Sablewood’s upper pond for a sweet first look and formal photos. Formal photos continued at the top of the hill, with 180 degree views of the mountains. Does it get more romantic that that?

The soon-to-be newlyweds finished up with photos with their wedding party and families before prepping for the ceremony. Meghan looked etherial in her lace dress as she walked down the aisle to an awaiting Tim. Readings and traditional vows followed before the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

The newlyweds joined cocktail hour and chatted with their guests before Mike from Music Man Entertainment welcomed them into the Sablewood’s stunning reception barn (complete with a giant chandelier!). The couple shared their first dance and parent dances before listening to heartfelt speeches from loved ones. Guests enjoyed dinner provided by the Old Daley before dancing the night away in the barn. Meghan and Tim lucked out with an amazing sunset – the perfect way to end a gorgeous wedding day.
