A Lounsbury House Wedding for Nicole & Geoff – Ridgefield CT Wedding

This stormy but beautiful CT wedding day began in Trumbull, where bride Nicole got ready with her bridesmaids and family. Nicole was nervous but excited as her mother and bridesmaids zipped her into her dress and buttoned the many buttons of the lace backed gown. After a first look with dad that left us all teary-eyed, the group headed to the Calvary Church in Trumbull, where an anxious Geoff awaited his future wife. This ceremony was particularly special, as Geoff’s father, who is a minister, would be leading the ceremony! Geoff was all smiles (and a few tears!) as Nicole was escorted down the aisle by her father to be given away. A sweet and personal ceremony followed, with special segments incorporating Geoff’s own experience as a minister, as well as the wedding’s nautical theme. The couple sealed their marriage with a kiss and a playful bubble sendoff. The cocktail hour and reception followed at Lounsbury House, a stunning historic mansion in Ridgefield CT. The Lounsbury’s House’s back courtyard provided the perfect backdrop for formal photos…until the rain began! Family photos continues on the Lounsbury House’s gorgeous wrap around porch, and the rains provided much a needed drop in temperature and breeze for the bride and groom. CNT Entertainment got the reception going with a sweet blessing and speech by the best man, and an amazing re-write of the “Fresh Prince” theme-song performed by the two maids of honor. Lounsbury House’s main hall made a perfect dance floor for this boisterous and fun group as CNT Entertainment rocked the house with dance worthy tunes. We even took advantage of the rolling thunderstorms by slipping out for a few night shots in the rain! Best wishes to this sweet couple!
