Jess and Matt’s Adirondack Wedding at the Whiteface Club in Lake Placid

Jess and Matt’s Lake Placid wedding day began on the shores of the lake, at the Whiteface Club and Resort. Jess and her bridesmaids got ready in a beautiful room at the Whiteface Club – overlooking Lake Placid. Jess slipped into her stunning Pronovias gown and shared sweet first looks with her bridesmaids and father before stepping into the fog to see her groom to be!

After their first look, Matt and Jess shared private vows (and a few tears!). The couple were excellent sports given the crazy rainy weather (and 44 degree day in June!) and explored the nearby gardens and boathouse for formal photos.

The ceremony was held in the Boathouse, overlooking the lakefront, and led by the groom sister Taylor. Thoughtful readings made the ceremony intimate and personal and cheers erupted as the newlyweds shared their first kiss.

A fun cocktail hour followed and guests braved the rain to get to the stunning reception room at the club. The newlyweds shared their first dance and parent dances before three amazing speeches had the room roaring with laugher and wiping away tears.

A small break in the rain allowed us to step out for some lakeside and garden photos before returning to the reception. When DJ Collie opened up the dance floor this group was ready to PARTY! When I say this was one of the best parties of the year I mean it! The dance floor was packed all night and guests danced the night away to tunes from all eras.
