The song “Rain rain, go away” was the theme of the day for Heather and Jason’s beautiful spring wedding at the Boathouse Restaurant and Lodges at Cresthaven in Lake George, NY. The warm sprinkles didn’t stop Heather from being all smiles on the morning of the wedding day. She and her bridesmaids had some fun with umbrella photos and selfies before getting into their baby blue dresses in the rustic cabins of the Lodges at Cresthaven. Heather was the picture of a glowing bride as she buttoned up her stunning lace gown from Bijou Bridal, and made her way down to Lake George for her waterside ceremony on the Boathouse Restaurant’s lower deck. Jason and his groomsmen soon joined them, after tying ties and helping Jason set the time on his gift from Heather: an old-world style pocket watch. A laughter filled, sweet ceremony followed lakeside, before some rainy but fun formal photos on the Boathouse Restaurant docks. Following cocktail hour, the couple enjoyed their first dance and parent dances in the upper deck ballroom, as the Boathouse Restaurant staff prepared a “comfort food” themed feast. DJ Mark B from Total Entertainment got the party going after dinner, with great tunes and high energy. And man does this group love to dance! Later on, the bouquet, created by Blooms, was caught by one of the bridesmaids, and the Cake by the Lake George Baking Company tasted wonderful and looked great smeared across the groom’s face. A trip into the rain for night photos and a rowdy sparkler sendoff completed this beautiful wedding night.
I’ve mocked up some of their photos into prints for their home below…check it out!
