Emma and Nick’s Adventurous Wedding in Lake Placid

Emma and Nick’s sunny (and HOT!) wedding day began in Heaven – literally – at Heaven Hills in Lake Placid. The couple shared a sweet first look and wiped away happy tears before taking formal photos with their wedding party. Once formals were finished, we took a tour of some of the most photogenic spots in the High Peaks (within an hour of Lake Placid of course)! I have to extend a gold star to this awesome couple – they were up for anything, including climbing down to waterfalls and rolling in the flowers!

Following photos, the couple joined their friends and family on the shores of Mirror Lake at the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort for their ceremony. Emma and Nick exchanged personalized (and very funny!) vows and exchanged the rings that would make them husband and wife. In true Lake Placid style, they followed the ceremony with a peaceful boat ride on Mirror Lake – and of course “royal waved” at their adoring guests onshore.

A mountain themed reception followed, complete with speeches, pie from the Noonmark Diner (a Keene Valley institution), cider donuts and enthusiastic dancing with music provided by DJ Lee Kyler. Congratulations to this amazing couple – I wish you many more fantastic adventures!
