Chas and Brittany’s Intimate Backyard Wedding Amid Covid-19

Chas and Brittany’s wedding plans changed as many others did this year amid the Covid-19 pandemic – but they handled it like pros! The couple chose to move their wedding celebration from a large local venue to an intimate backyard wedding with close family and friends. The day could not have been more perfect for the couple – who got ready at home and shared an enthusiastic and emotional first look overlooking the Mohawk River. Their wedding party joined for some fun outdoor photos that took advantage of the beautiful views. The couple returned to their backyard for a small socially-distant and webcast wedding ceremony made special with readings by the mother of the groom and the bride’s grandfather. Following the ceremony, Chas and Brittany hosted a tented dinner with delicious food catered by Chef Dan Spitz. Laughter and tear filled the tent during speeches and the newlyweds were cheered on as they cut their wedding cake (custom made by the groom)! Chas and Brittany made lemonade out of lemons this year and I’m so happy I was there to capture their special day!
