Alyssa and Ben's rustic Adirondack wedding at the Burlap & Beams wedding barn in Thurman NY was truly a beautiful wedding! The classic bride got ready at Burlap and Beam's "wedding barn", where she was laced into her gown by her bridesmaids and mom. Ben and the groomsmen exchanged gifts and tied ties in the "groom's barn" before heading down the aisle to await Alyssa. Alyssa and her dad shared an emotional "Dad's first look," before walking down the aisle to excited guests and family. Ben and Alyssa exchanged vows and were married by Alyssa's friend and bridesmaid, before sealing the marriage with a kiss. Family and bridal party photos followed before the newlyweds traveled the Burlap & Beams property to take some rustic and Adirondack inspired wedding photos. The couple shared their first dance on Burlap and Beam's new covered patio, and followed with parent dances. Guests enjoyed sweet speeches and a wonderful dinner before climbing up the the main barn at Burlap and Beams for a fun night of drinking and dancing. What a party! We even snuck out to do some fun night photos, scented by smoke from the nearby bonfire. Best wishes to this sweet couple! I can't even begin to explain how amazing Caitlin is at her profession! She goes above and beyond for her clients. She made sure we were able to capture every little moment. From the first look with my father to those sweet little moments with family and friends that aren't planned she was there. We absolutely love all of our photos. We can not thank you enough Caitlin for everything you did for us. Special thanks for helping me with my bustle and keeping everything on track. She even went along with an idea we sprang on her at the last minute of icing the groomsmen for Ben. Thank you again for everything and we definitely recommend having Caitlin for any event you may have in mind, but especially weddings!
All of the photos are amazing and mean a lot to us both. However, one photo that means a lot to me is the photo of my bouquet as it has a pin from one great grandmother and a handkerchief from my other great grandmother, whom both are no longer with us. That picture is very dear to me.
